Precept is a private tool shared among friends. Using it means you agree to the following. If you don't, don't connect an account.
Precept runs a small set of written, backtested trading rules in a Robinhood account that you own and control. It places orders in your name, through Robinhood's own agent connection, only in the separate agentic account you turned on for it. It never touches your main brokerage account. Every rule it trades, with its test results, is published on the Research page.
It is not investment advice, a fund, a managed account, or a promise of returns. Backtests are historical simulations, not forecasts. Cost assumptions and data limitations vary by experiment and are described in the research. Actual execution can differ, and past results do not guarantee future returns.
You decide whether to connect, how much to put in the agentic account, which strategies are on for your seat, and at what size. You can pause new entries, switch a strategy off, or disconnect at any time from Settings. Positions already open stay open until their rules close them or you close them yourself in Robinhood.
You can lose money, including all of the money in the agentic account. Some strategies run without a stop by design. You accept that risk by switching a strategy on.
There is no charge for using Precept today. If that ever changes, you will be told before it does, and you can leave first.
Precept stores your name, email, a hashed password, your Robinhood connection tokens (encrypted at rest), the agentic account number, its balance, and the orders and positions it placed for you. It stores nothing about your other Robinhood accounts. Your balances and trades are visible to you and to whoever runs Precept, and to nobody else. Disconnecting removes the tokens.
Precept is provided as is. It depends on Robinhood's connection, market data, and a scheduled job on a hosting provider, any of which can fail or change without notice. Orders can fill at worse prices than expected or not at all. The people running Precept are not liable for losses, missed trades, outages, or bugs.
Seats are by invitation. Don't share your login, and don't represent Precept to anyone as a product or a service.
